years ago, in someone’s sig file:
“Bother,” said Pooh. “Eeyore, ready two photon torpedoes and lock phasers on the Heffalump. Piglet, meet me in transporter room three. Christopher Robin, you have the bridge.”

Um…. doesn't Pooh wear a red shirt? He isn't engineering so he'd better watch his step….
ROFLOL!
And yeah, TD, it's automatic doom…
Yeah, but you forget, once they got out of the '60s, Kirk (and Picard) wore red, too.
Which just goes to show you that they were tough enough to taunt death right in it's face…
Well, Kirk, anyway. 😉
Pooh predates TNG dearie, red shirt effect has not yet been negated.
Hence, the stories ended with the unfinished work:
Winnie the Pooh and the Landing Party
Pooh also predates phasers, photon torpedoes and transporter technology. This is obviously Next Gen Pooh. 🙂 (IIRC, it was close on ten years ago I ran across this.)
Besides, Pooh actually doesn't wear a red shirt anyway. That's Disney's invention. 🙂
