I wrote a piece a little bit ago on “Sense of place and the ’08 election,” riffing a bit on a Peggy Noonan column and a Beldar blog post. It occurred to me a moment ago that someone should tell Peggy Noonan not to worry quite so much: whatever else they may be, both Delaware and Alaska are most definitely places.
